About Carvana
At Carvana, we sell cars—but we’re not car salesmen. Our promise is simple: we won’t sell a car to a customer that we wouldn’t sell to our own mom. Period. That’s why every vehicle goes through Carvana’s process, where it’s inspected, perfected, and prepared to meet our high standards before it ever reaches you. And now, we’re bringing those same values to our new car dealerships—delivering quality, trust, and care you’d be proud to share with Mom.
We strive to provide only the highest quality vehicles to our customers in our mission to deliver a no-hassle, better car buying experience. We are actively looking for passionate and talented individuals who can help us deliver on that promise.

About the team and position
The Manager, Parts (Central) is a central analytics and strategy role responsible for managing the parts business across all 7 sites, as well as supporting parts needs for Carvana inspection centers (ICs) as part of the broader Fixed Ops supply chain. This role owns the high-level inventory management strategy, ordering algorithms, stocking levels, pricing, returns, and network-wide vendor relationships. Success in this role is distinct from the on-site Parts Lead, who manages the physical flow of parts at each individual location.
What you’ll be doing
- Own parts inventory strategy across the network—determine what to stock, where, and in what quantities.
- Manage ordering processes, reorder points, and stocking levels to maximize parts availability while minimizing carrying cost and obsolescence.
- Set and manage parts pricing in coordination with the Strategy & Analytics Sr. Manager.
- Manage vendor relationships—negotiate pricing, evaluate supplier performance, and ensure a reliable supply chain.
- Own the central parts returns process to minimize dead stock and maximize financial recovery on unused parts.
- Support IC (inspection center) parts needs as part of the broader Fixed Ops supply chain network.
- Analyze parts attach rates, gross margin by category, and shrinkage to systematically identify and execute opportunities to improve.
- Provide strategic guidance and best practices to on-site Parts Leads regarding stocking optimization and process compliance.
What you should have
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in supply chain, central inventory management, analytics, or strategy roles (automotive or parts industry experience highly preferred).
- Exceptional analytical and data-driven problem-solving skills, with experience managing inventory algorithms and complex datasets.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate corporate strategy into execution and provide guidance to site leadership.
- Proven capability in managing vendor relationships, evaluating supplier performance, and managing commercial negotiations.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment while maintaining alignment across network operations.
What we’ll offer in return
- Full-Time Position with a competitive salary
- Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits
- 401K with company match
- A multitude of perks including student loan payments, discounts on vehicles, benefits for your pets, and much more
- A great wellness program to keep you healthy and happy, both physically and mentally
- Access to opportunities to expand your skillset and share your knowledge with others across the organization
- A company culture of promotions from within, with a start-up atmosphere allowing for varied and rapid career development
- A seat in one of the fastest-growing companies in the country
